About the Headliners

Alia Laura
Alia started doing comedy in the winter of 2022 when it became clear that science alone wouldn’t be enough to stimulate her wild brain. From open mics to festival shows, she has hustled up the comedic ladder to become one of Edmonton’s most exciting new standups. Forever identifying as the class clown, Alia brings her dynamic presence and quirky observations about dating, current events, and her own character flaws to crowds with an over-abundance of energy that will keep audiences engaged and laughing to the very end of her ridiculous time on her favourite place: the center of attention. Jules Balluffi
Jules is a rising star in the Edmonton comedy scene. Originally from New York, Jules moved to Alberta for graduate school and stumbled into stand up shortly thereafter. She charms audiences with a mixture of observational humour and story telling that is equal parts silly and witty. Follow: @julesballuffi

Host: Dino Primo
Dino loves writing jokes and sometimes even funny ones. He regularly writes with comedians from across Canada, United States, and the United Kingdom, but finds it easier to write with a pen. Dino resides in Edmonton, Alberta (Canada), but considers NYC a second home; even though most New Yorkers don’t consider the corner of 96 and Lexington behind the green dumpster liveable. His stand up has been described as either too fast or too slow, sometimes too smart or too dumb, by 3 out of 4 people named Goldilocks. He has written for Late Nite with Shay Dominguez (Atlanta, Georgia) and now writes for ATL Live (Atlanta, Georgia).
