HEADLINER JESSE JONES:
Jesse Jones has been doing stand-up comedy, improvisational and sketch comedy for the last ten years. His high-energy style and honest storytelling allows crowds to connect with him on a personal level whether they want to or not. He has been seen on MTV, Laughs on Fox, the 3V network series "Fitness Fail" and reviewed by the New York Times for his work with No Tea Productions. He can currently be seen and heard weekly on the Bourbon Showdown Show on Itunes, Spotify and Youtube.
FEATURE CHRIS MONDS:
Chris Monds is originally from the Dunn, NC. He started performing stand-up in June of 2016. He’s opened and performed with numerous celebrities including Gary Owen, John Henton, and JJ Williamson just to name a few. He’s been referred to as a “comic’s comic” due to his witty writing and his observational style of comedy. His style of comedy has captivated audiences and has allowed him to perform throughout the United States. In 2022 he created and launched a card game entitled “Cultural Connections” which has been receiving rave reviews globally.
FEATURE DAKOTA DAY:
Dakota Day is a up and coming comic born and raised in Charlotte, NC. His primary style of comedy is using past situations and self deprivation to tell long form stories with pointed observations. He is a frequent guest of the Idiot Box comedy club in Greensboro and in his first year in comedy he has performed in clubs all throughout the southeast US from Raleigh NC, to Roanoke, VA, to Myrtle Beach, SC.
HOST LAUREN ANSLEY
Based in Charlotte, NC, Lauren Ansley is a a show producer and founder of Lauren Ansley Presents and Beerly Funny. She has been a featured performer in several comedy festivals throughout the Carolinas, named one of the comedians to know by Charlotte Five and was featured in The Charlotte Observer. She has opened for nationally touring headliners Dale Jones, Preacher Lawson, Sean Patton, Grandma Lee, Sean Finnerty and Michael Palascak. Her passion to make others laugh and slight southern accent are only overshadowed by her infectious smile and abnormal height of 5’13”.
