Comedy in English: Nadine Froughi - Daydreamer

Mad Cow Comedy presents Solos at the Shed; a series of great solo shows in the most intimate of venues in Utrecht! On Friday 5th June join us for Nadine Froughi's debut show Daydreamer.

Nadine Froughi is a Daydreamer.
In this, her debut comedy hour, she’ll take you on a multimedia musical-comedy romp through the no-man’s land between real life and her daydreams.
Questions like, “Where is she really from?” “Who’s the world’s most famous frog?” and “Did this bit really need a PowerPoint presentation?” will be asked and answered in an hour of comedy that’s high-energy, relatable and ever so slightly sincere.
Expect songs about things that probably don’t need them, a splash of cultural confusion, a healthy dose of feminine rage and potentially a little too much insight into why this woman is Still Single™.
This show is for situationship survivors, PowerPoint aficionados, karaoke overachievers, and anyone who’s ever wondered if the grass was greener on the other side.
NB: She’ll be performing the majority of this show in her regular accent.

About Nadine:

Nadine Froughi is a stand-up comedian. Half Iranian, half American, raised in the UK but now mostly Dutch, her comedy combines stand-up with music and visuals for a comedy experience her mother described as 'fabulous.' Featured on NTR's Ramadan Bites and 2 time English Comedy Talent Award finalist, Nadine is based in Amsterdam. Aside from telling jokes, makes a really good shallot pasta, really dumb videos on the internet, and can deadlift over 100kg on a good day.

• The show takes place at de Schuur ("the Shed") a cosy private theatre close to the Louis Hartlooper at Ledig, Erf, Utrecht.
• Doors open: 19:30, Showtime: 20:00
• Running time: approx 90 mins
• Drinks will be available before and after the performance
• Recommended age: 16+
• Space is limited, so book early to avoid disappointment
