Grab a drink upstairs, then head below into a space inspired by Chinatown’s golden age of nightlife—when basement clubs and cabaret rooms filled the neighborhood with music, comedy, and late-night energy.

About Tumen Laughs

Tumen Laughs was founded in 2025 as an alternative to the traditional comedy club night out—bringing live comedy into the heart of San Francisco’s Chinatown in a more intimate, community-driven setting.

We focus on making comedy more accessible while supporting the neighborhood that hosts us, partnering with local Chinatown small businesses and nonprofits to give back through every show.

Every first Wednesday of the month, we curate a fresh lineup featuring rising Bay Area comedians, touring acts, and seasoned veterans—bringing together new voices and established talent in one unforgettable room.

At its core, Tumen Laughs is about great comedy, local impact, and keeping Chinatown’s nightlife alive.
