Join Stay Tuned for Vets for an empowering and hilarious 3-week Comedy Workshop created exclusively for Veterans! Whether you're new to the stage or have stories to share, this course offers a unique way to express yourself, build confidence, and connect through comedy.
Led by the incredible Melissa Williams, a professional comedian and teaching artist with extensive experience working with Veteran groups, this workshop will guide you through joke writing, performance basics, and turning life experiences into laughter.

About the facilitator: Melissa Williams
Melissa Williams is a stand-up comedian, keynote speaker, and laughter enthusiast who believes life is better when we’re laughing—loudly and often. From overcoming a childhood stutter through the arts to delivering clean, heartfelt comedy across stages nationwide, Melissa knows firsthand how humor can heal, connect, and empower.
She’s performed at churches, corporate events, women’s retreats, and even weddings, sharing real-life stories with an unforgettable dose of joy. Whether she’s recounting her epic high school floral design fail, surviving the delivery of an 11-pound baby, or getting kicked out of 59 Diner for laughing too hard (true story!), Melissa’s comedic storytelling makes even the quietest crowd crack up.
A proud mom, undefeated family Thanksgiving turkey champ, and queso connoisseur, Melissa brings her full, vibrant self to every performance. Her journey from speech therapy to spotlight is living proof that laughter truly is the best medicine—and she’s here to share it with you.
