About this Event
Comedy Against Cancer
All tickets include a complimentary drink ticket.
The evening kicks off with three powerhouse improv teams, each performing a 30-minute set of unscripted comedy:
On The Spot – Denver’s longest-running improv show, full of fast-paced games, songs, and jokes inspired by audience suggestions.
Improv Cabaret – A fully improvised Broadway-style musical where the audience helps shape the story, songs, and styles.
The Complaint Department – A BIPOC improv team that turns everyday complaints into hilarious worlds and unforgettable characters.
Then, our headliner takes the stage:
Headliner: Joe Bill
Joe Bill – Surviving Consciousness: Lessons Learned from Cancer, LSD & Michael Jordan
In this raw, hilarious, and heartfelt one-man show, Joe shares stories of his journey through three different cancers, chemotherapy, and recovery. With honesty, wit, and optimism, he offers a perspective of “dancing with cancer” rather than fighting it. It’s a moving performance that blends laughter, vulnerability, and the resilience of the human spirit.
Proceeds from Comedy Against Cancer benefit the Ray of Hope Cancer Foundation, which provides crucial basic needs and mental health support to cancer patients across Colorado.
