New Venue, Old Essays. After an amazing run at Whammy! we've found ourselves needing a bigger space, so we're moving to The Hunt Vintage Furniture in Echo Park. To christen this new venue, we're bringing back readers and essays from the past nearly 2 years to read their essays again!

Come on down to have cocktails from our full bar and hear essays on past themes like Home, Mistakes, Age, Nostalgia, the Future, and also "Seconds," the only theme we felt was actually a little too confusing.

What is this show? A bunch of comedians (and other people) reading short comedic essays they wrote.
