From there, he carved out a dynamic career across Portland, Los Angeles, and New York City—bringing his unique voice and fearless humor to stages nationwide. Since the 2010s, he’s called Los Angeles home, but his comedy has resonated far beyond the West Coast.

Auggie first made waves in 1994 by winning the Sam Adams Comedy Contest in Boston, which led to his national TV debut on An Evening at the Improv. Since then, he’s become a familiar voice on the syndicated Bob & Tom Show, where his candid interviews and hilarious storytelling helped build a loyal fanbase across the Midwest.

He’s not just a crowd favorite—he’s a competition crusher. Auggie took first place in both the San Francisco and Seattle Comedy Competitions in 2010, joining the ranks of legends like Mitch Hedberg, Dana Carvey, and Sinbad. He’s also been a standout at major festivals including Montreal, Aspen, Las Vegas, and Bridgetown, and even co-founded the Big Sky Comedy Festival in Montana.

Whether he’s riffing on everyday absurdities or diving deep into personal truths, Auggie’s comedy is smart, bold, and always hilarious. His performances are more than just stand-up—they’re an experience.
