Ever wanted to try Canada's fastest game on ice? Here's your chance, no experience required!
The West Ottawa Wild are hosting a FREE Come Try Ringette event before our season kicks off this fall.
When: Sunday, August 30
Time: 10:00–10:50 am Bell Sensplex
Where: 1565 Maple Grove Rd, Stittsville, ON K2V 0A2
For kids aged 4-17 - Whether your kid has never laced up skates before or is already flying around the rink, this is a no-pressure, all-fun way to see what ringette is all about.
What to expect:
- On-ice helpers for every skill level, from first-time skaters to future stars
- A focus on skating, basic ringette skills, and having a blast
- A welcoming, judgment-free environment where everyone starts somewhere
All are welcome to stay and watch our West Ottawa Wild take on an exhibition game at 11:00 am!
All you need is a helmet, skates, and gloves (any gloves work, hockey gloves not required!), we'll provide the rest (sticks, rings, snacks, and plenty of encouragement)!
