Come Protest the Blackshear Repurposing Meeting

Come join us in person to stand up and voice your thoughts about the injustice of Blackshear plans!
We need your help to ensure AISD does not close our historic and academically successful school! AISD has scheduled “repurposing” meetings – to discuss whether to sell our campus, or use it for another purpose. The timing is extremely premature and disrespectful to our community, given that Blackshear will continue serving students at least until January 2028. Please join us in protesting against holding these meetings now.

• Show up at Kealing Middle School on July 15 - 5 pm -7:30 pm to make your voice heard in person.

Tell AISD to let Blackshear focus on academics and building community as we welcome Oak Springs students who were displaced from their school due to the TAP plans approved by the board in Nov. 2025.
Remind AISD that the Board has not voted to close Blackshear, as required by district policy (CT Local).
