Come meet the JASA representative at the Sheepshead Bay Library

Come meet the JASA representative who will have their own table with resources that they will be providing to others at the Sheepshead Bay Library. If you are aged 60 or older and need assistance or know someone who does, JASA can help. JASA social workers will help you or your family members with a variety of services:

• Case Management Services: Comprehensive in-home assessments to develop personalized care plans
• Eligibility screening and application for benefits/entitlements (Food Stamps, SCRIE, Medicaid, Access-a-Ride), housing and much more.
• Home care
• Supportive counseling
• Referrals to community resources
• Home-Delivered Meals (Kosher, Non-Kosher, Halal, Russian, Chinese, and Caribbean).
• Homemaking Services: Assistance with personal care and home maintenance.
• Supportive Counseling: Emotional and mental health support tailored to individual needs.
• Referrals to Community Services: Connecting members to additional resources and services in the community.
• Home Delivered Meals: A variety of meal options, including Kosher, Non-Kosher, Halal, Russian, Chinese, and Caribbean cuisines. Patients can choose their preferred meal type and whether they want meals delivered hot or frozen.
• Friendly Visiting: Regular check-ins to combat social isolation and provide companionship.
