💙💛💙💛Come From Away💙💛💙💛Promenade Productions are seeking performers for our upcoming amateur production of the Tony® and Olivier Award–winning musical Come From Away at the Everyman theatre Cheltenham. This musical is the true story of how the small
town of Gander, Newfoundland welcomed the world in the days following 9/11.
This ensemble-driven show celebrates generosity, resilience, and global community.
Performers will play multiple roles, including real people from many countries, cultures, and backgrounds.
Who We’re Looking For:
We are casting a diverse, inclusive ensemble of 12 actors.Performers of all ethnicities, genders and backgrounds are welcome to audition.
The production places great importance on diversity and authentic representation, and we are particularly keen to reach performers from Black, Middle Eastern, North African backgrounds, whose voices and experiences are reflected in the story the show tells, but who are under-represented in the Cheltenham theatre scene.
Performer Requirements:
đź’™Strong actors and singers
đź’›Confident ensemble performers able to play multiple characters
đź’™Comfortable with a variety of accents (support provided)
đź’›Ages: 18+

About the Show :
Come From Away tells the story of 7,000 stranded airline passengers from around the world and the people of Gander who welcomed them.
Twelve actors tell the stories of both the locals and the “Plane People”. The musical highlights international voices and perspectives with warmth, humour, and humanity, as well as the
profound generosity and compassion of strangers.
The original Broadway production is available to watch on Apple TV+ for those interested.

Time: 10am - 5pm (Exact call times TBC)
We are also hosting two Trial Sessions so you can get to know the show, meet the
team and prepare for your audition. These will be held:
