We’re meeting at Newport Pagnell Baptist Church starting at 9:30 am and finishing around 12:30 pm.
The morning includes:
Special Guest speaker Rosie Harriot -
Rosie has lived in MK for many years and is a gifted communicator. She is actively involved at Milton Keynes Christian Centre, where she preaches and leads services. A former youth worker for Bridge Builder Trust, Rosie is now a teacher at a local secondary school. A wife to Sean and mum to two girls, she’s recently taken up the adventure of paddle boarding.
Breakout streams -
On the day, select from a choice of teaching streams led by local women. More details to follow.
My Story Panel -
We’re bringing together a panel of local women to powerfully share about the hope-filled, gritty and unexpected life moments they have encountered. The panel includes: Rev. Charmaine Howard (MK House of Prayer), Katie Garside (New Life Church), plus more announcements to come! … watch this space!
And of course because it's Come Closer, some delicious brunch pastries, fruit and drinks.

Come Closer is a multi-generational women’s organisation. Our aim is to provide spaces and resources that encourage, equip and strengthen women to come closer to God in their daily lives. As women together, we also want the nurture friendships and cheer one another on.
