Come & Sing Mozart Requiem

Dear Chorister/Choir Member/Choir Director

In what is the first for many years at Coventry Cathedral, the Music Department are delighted to invite you, your choir or other singing friends to our first large scale ‘Come and Sing’; Mozart Requiem, on Saturday 4th July 2026. In the majestic surroundings of Coventry Cathedral accompanied by our world-famous Harrison and Harrison Organ, this promises to be a spectacular Come & Sing Event for all involved!

There will be a rehearsal at the Cathedral on the day itself before the concert, with refreshments provided for choir members in-between the rehearsal and the concert. Please find the schedule overleaf for further timings. All music will be provided. We’ll be using the Bärenreiter edition for the vocal scores, but most editions will be compatible.

Choir members arrive to Cathedral Main Entrance for music distribution & seating

Rehearsal in Cathedral with full Chorus

With a short break in the middle

5:30pm

Break for refreshments (provided)

6:30pm

Concert commences

7:30pm (appox.)
