Evensong is, arguably, the jewel in the crown of the CofE. An evening service of great reflection for which much wonderful music has been written; a meditation of words and music. Led by Matthew Redman (Director of Music at St John’s), the event will include music by Haydn and Walmisley plus two cracking hymns. Tea break too plus fabulous organ music played by Matt Walters (former Organ Scholar at St John’s), this will be an afternoon of delights. All music provided. £20 on the door or via Eventbrite.
