About this Event
The iMARS research project started in September 2020 to address the use of counterfeit travel documents at borders. The main goal was to develop tools to detect manipulated face images and verify the authenticity of identity documents.
In the span of four years, great progress has been achieved in multiple areas, including document verification and morphing detection, vulnerability assessment, training and standardisation, and it is time to make these results known.
This event aims to create a public space for the dissemination of the most significant achievements in the form of live demos, presentations, and discussions. You will hear from esteemed experts in the field of image manipulation prevention and detection on the tools and methods developed by the project and have the opportunity to discuss one on one with the team. The event will also address the next steps regarding R&D as well as the integration and exploitation of iMARS solutions and future policy and regulation, hoping to incentivise the exploration of future avenues for joint initiatives and networking.
We invite all practitioners, academics, government, industry leaders, end-users, policy makers, legal advisors and similar professionals interested in identity fraud and security countermeasures to attend.
