I have hired out Brass Monkey for us all to hang out and watch films. Brass Monkey is a bar on Drummond St in NEWINGTON – with a difference!
Set down a cosy cobbled side street, the back room has lots comfy seats, and pillow areas.
It has a HUGE screen on which we can put anything we want. Previous films we have watched have included feel good films, blockbusters, zany comedies, and action flicks (in background so can chat) and maybe some kickboxing fights...etc.
* Bring a movie (DVD or BluRay) and any snacks you like – we will chooses the movie as a group!
* Keep in mind, the movie does not need to be the full focus of the evening, but more a way to relax, chat and make friends in a comfortable space.
PS the door is right opposite the bar….very handy ;-)

We have the entire room to ourselves!
Please arrive at or before 6pm if you can, or at least before 6:30pm to be part of when we choose our first film.
In town already? Pop along if can make it for an hour or two - it will be great to see you !
PS. I am personally looking forward to catching up with EVERYONE !

Enter the pub, walk to the back then take a right up the steps and into the back room. Door may be slightly open/closed door so please just come in.
If anyone has any good DVD’s PLEASE bring them. They can’t be copies or rentals – have to be own or purchased DVD’s.
CAN YOU CONTRIBUTE:
The venue costs £50 to hire, so if you would like or are able to contribute it would be greatly appreciated- there will be a Contribution Box for anything you feel able.
Alternatively can you bring along some additional snacks to share ?
