On Sunday 9th August, Colwall Cricket Club is proud to host our FREE Women's & Girls' Centenary Festival, marking 100 years since the events that led to the formation of the Women's Cricket Association.
✨ What's on?
? Women's softball cricket tournament with Isa Guha's charity Take Her Lead, women's cricketwear specialists Lacuna Sports and Maiden Cricket in attendance for the day.
? Live music from the 18-piece Malvern Big Band featuring Nicole Warfield and sets by Molly Smout.
? Charleston dance demonstrations and have-a-go sessions with CoolMoves Dance & Fitness
?️ Heritage displays celebrating Colwall's unique place in cricket history
? Special guests including Enid Bakewell MBE and women's cricket historian Dr Raf Nicholson
? Traditional afternoon teas and fish and chips from Colwall Park Hotel, plus Prosecco, Pimm's and our special 'Colwall 1926' cocktail
? Bennett's Ice Cream & old-fashioned sweets
