Colvin Concerts: Sam Fazio Quartet

Chicago-based vocalist Sam Fazio has been making a name for himself in the music scene over the past several years. Sam‘s quartet can be seen regularly at many theaters and clubs throughout the Chicagoland area, as well as performing arts centers, festivals, and clubs throughout the country. Sam has held residencies at many well-known hotels, including the LondonHouse, Chicago Hilton, and a 6-year run at the historic Drake Hotel. Sam has performed in many well-known venues around the US, such as Green Mill, Jazz Showcase, Andy's Jazz Club, City Winery and SPACE (Chicago), Cliff Bell’s (Detroit), Dakota (Minneapolis) and Feinstein's at the Loews Regency and 54 Below (New York City), as well as at many festivals throughout the summer. Sam's repertoire includes a unique mix of American standards, swing tunes, and pop classics. His heartfelt interpretations bring new life to the standards and showcase his current, yet classic style. Sam was named one of the "three great vocalists in Chicago" in a recent article and has performed live on Windy City Live and WGN Midday News. Sam's three CDs have been reviewed by many media outlets, including WGN Radio, Chicago Jazz Magazine, Illinois Entertainer, JazzChicago.net, Keys and Chords, and Jazz Review, to name a few. Sam’s sophomore CD was released on Blujazz Records, and his newest holiday CD was named one of the best holiday jazz albums by jazz critic Howard Reich. Sam’s most recent CD, Let’s Go, was produced by the legendary duo Tuck and Patti, and was showcased in a 10-city Midwest tour with Tuck & Patti. Tracks from Sam's CDs can be heard on radio stations throughout the country and around the world.

Food & Drink:

We have food and a selection of beverages (sodas, beer, and wine) for sale onsite at Colvin House! Guests can order from a limited menu each week.

Please note that we do not allow outside food or drinks at Colvin Concerts.

Parking Info:

The first 15 cars can park FREE at George B. Swift Elementary School, just two blocks west of Colvin House (as space allows). Please come to Colvin House's back door (off Thorndale Ave) first to receive a parking permit from staff who will provide further instructions.

We also recommend The Malibu Condominiums (6007 N Sheridan) public garage, just across the street, north of Colvin House. This parking can be validated by Colvin House for $2.00 off.

Those valet rates are as follows:

· 1 Hour: $6

· 2 Hours: $10

· 3 Hours: $11

· 4 Hours: $13

We recommend arriving early if you need to park.
