The Roseville Community Band was established in 1964. It is a true community band in that no auditions are required, and membership is open to any adult musician. Concerts are performed throughout the year. The mission of the band is to contribute positively to the musical environment of the area it serves, and to provide an opportunity for musical growth and fellowship among the musicians.
The band is proud to champion the place of the community band within the American music scene. An annual scholarship for continued musical growth is awarded by the band to an outstanding Roseville area student. Daniel Kuch has led the Roseville Community Band since 2001. He also performs as a trumpeter in jazz ensembles and marching bands. He serves as Drum Major and Director of the Edison High School Alumni Band and the University of Minnesota Alumni Band.
