Join us for a panel discussion with three amazing experts, all well versed in supporting children (and us parents!) who might be having a hard time. This is for you if you:- Aren't sure if you're child is meeting their milestones and what to do about it.- Are waiting for a paedatrician appointment and want to see what options you have in the meantime. - Aren't sure about neurodiversity and whether a diagnosis would be helpful or not.- have a child is neurodivergent and your wondering what support options are available, including accessing NDIS funding.- Just want to see that you aren't alone in this journey. On the panel, we have:Dr Marisa Nguyen, a holistic GP and lactation consultant and mum of 3. She has a neuroaffirming approach to her practice and will be able to provide a medical perspective. Carlien Parahi, a mum of 2 young kids and a Paediatric Occupational Therapist at Sense Therapies, who directly supports children with challenging behaviours and neurordiversity. Erin Jamieson from The Sensory Studio who is a mum of a neurodiverse child and can provide a perspective of a mum who has 'been there' in the early years. She also comes with a wealth of knowledge from running the store and providing supports to many local and Australian families.
The group will be a maximum of 20 people, to ensure there is sufficient time for questions. You have the option to submit an anonymous question for the panel when you book your ticket, and we will also have an open QnA on the day.
