Colour My City

Colour My City is a fun run walk that uses colour powder as a fun way to celebrate and entertain people. These runs or walks are known as Colour Fun Runs. Colour Fun Run is the festival of colours emotions and happiness and what better way to express yourself than with the vibrant colours of the rainbow. The aim is to spread the message of love and happiness to all who participate.

About Colour My City

Colour My City is founded to bring together communities and promote an environment of unity while promoting a healthy lifestyle. The event will be held on Saturday the 1st April 2023 in Melville Johannesburg. The route is 3km and the walk will begin at 9:00am with registration open from 8:am. The participants will be wearing wear white or light-coloured shirts throughout the course of the race. They are splattered with an assortment of powdery colours.

Instead of the glory coming from being the first person across the final line the fun comes from the experience and photos you can later share with your friends and family of you covered in different colours and the joy of trying to finish the race being more colourful than your friends. Our participants vary in demographics and reasons for taking part. It is an event for all fitness levels ages and backgrounds.                                                                                     

For the 1st of April we have chosen to give to Children of Fire which is a home for children who have been burnt. The home is based in Aucklandpark.
