Work with Artist Lisa-Ann Sugimoto for an introduction to ancient colors using Japanese mineral dye applications onto cloth using Itajime Shibori (clamp resist) and immersion dye techniques on white cotton fabric. Students may also bring (optional) one pre-washed 100% cotton T-shirt to dye. This nontoxic, gentle, and sustainable dye product is imported from Japan. 14+ Y/o suggested $45.00 for 2 hours.
