Colors of Hope: Paint It Forward! ™ LA Wildfires Relief Initiative

In the wake of the unprecedented and devastating Southern California wildfires, the spirit of resilience and community shines brighter than ever. We invite you to join our Colors of Hope: Paint It Forward!™, an initiative by Kids Artistic Sense, Inc. dedicated to bringing joy, creativity, and cheer to the children and families affected by these devastating events. Imagine a canvas where every brushstroke represents hope and healing. Our goal is to provide children and families with a sense of renewal through community painting events, symbolizing rebirth and unity. We aim to foster an atmosphere of creativity that will uplift their spirits, support their mental and social wellbeing, give them space to express their feelings, reconnect with fun, and reclaim a sense of normalcy.

To kick off our initiative, we will host a series of Art-In-A-Day paint events for children and families impacted by the wildfires. Led by our art instructors, children will work on their own individual art masterpiece, while parents will be invited to participate in a group art painting, creating a vibrant “mural” that embodies their stories of strength and perseverance. Additionally, parents can shop our free goods marketplace for new children’s clothing ages 2+, soft toys and plushies, reading books, sketch pads, coloring activity books, etc., as well as be entered into the event raffle for giveaways from Kids Artistic Sense, Inc. and our event sponsors.

As we unite to restore joy in our communities, we are calling on businesses, organizations, and individuals to support our mission through sponsorships or volunteer efforts. Every contribution helps us bring color back into the lives of those affected, proving that even in the darkest times, together we can create a masterpiece of hope and resilience.

Info: Art-In-A-Day Paint Events will mirror a traditional art class where children are painting in a structured environment going through the process of completing their individual art masterpieces. Each child will be working on his or her own canvas painting and completing his or her individual artwork. To ensure a proper and successful outcome of the painting sessions, children upon arrival will choose a pre-painted canvas to their liking. Canvas backgrounds will be painted in fun, vibrant colors. During their painting session, children will be able to use any paint colors of their choice to complete their artwork. Materials: pre-painted canvas—children will choose a pre-painted canvas background of their choice based on a color that interests them; non-toxic water-based acrylic paint colors and dot ink colors; watercolor pencils, paint colors; paintbrushes; easy-to-use design stencils like unicorn, palm tree, etc. Instructors will guide but follow the interests of children when painting.
