After a 14-year hiatus, the Pacific Northwest’s colorfield returns to the live stage with its classic lineup and the melodic, atmospheric sound that earned the band a devoted local following.
Featuring Carla Kendall-Bray (vocals), Patrick Goebel and Paul Lesinski (guitars), Mike Budd (bass), and David Kendall (drums), colorfield blends heartfelt songwriting, soaring vocal melodies, shimmering guitar textures, and a powerful rhythm section into an emotional live experience.
Active between 1999 and 2012, colorfield shared stages with The Gin Blossoms, Luce, The Motels, Berlin, Jethro Tull frontman Ian Anderson, and Cousteau and released an EP and two full-length CDs of original music.
After 14 years away, the band returns to celebrate the songs, the friendships, and the music that still connects with all who hear it. Opening the evening will be Alex Bray acoustic, and after colorfield, Metermaid will close the night with its unique brand of indie rock originals. Cover is $10. Run of show is:
