The Centennial State celebrates its 145th birthday on Sunday, August 1, 2021 with a free event at the History Colorado Center!From alpacas to mascots to professional chalk artists, there will be more than 20 attractions. Oh, and who can forget the live music, local vendors and four floors of award winning exhibits. Join us at this carnivalesque gathering fit for an entire state.
The event is free and open to the public from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Advance registration is highly recommended. Covered parking is available in the Cultural Center Complex Garage (enter from 12th Avenue between Broadway and Acoma) or RTD will bring you right to the museum’s doorstep. History Colorado Center is located at 1200 Broadway.
