Palettes from "Masterful" Painters
Taught by Cameron Taylor-Brown
Sunday November 3, 2025
1:15 to 2:45 pm
In this 90-minute overview workshop, beautiful color palettes are yours for the borrowing - just look to the masters for color ideas! Cameron will provide images of art as well as various colored yarns for participant to practice wrapping “palettes” that will inform weaving, knitting or crochet projects. Have fun and get a taste of color theory by observing what the masters have done. Experience the joy of developing exuberant (or subtle) color combinations by knowing where to look.
Cameron Taylor-Brown has a distinguished lifetime of experience in the textile arts, industry, design and weaving. Her artwork has been widely exhibited and published and she has lectured nation-wide on a diverse range of topics from Anni Albers, the Bauhaus, Color Theory, Stripes and beyond.
