Join us for a year-long quilting adventure designed to deepen your color intuition, strengthen your piecing skills, and reveal the magic hidden inside classic quilt blocks. This monthly class focuses on one quilt block per session, all created from a single jelly roll. Over twelve months, you’ll build a beautiful collection of coordinated blocks shaped by the color and value choices you make along the way.
What you’ll learn
Each month, we’ll take a closer look at one quilt block, exploring:
• How color placement changes a block’s overall feel
• How value shifts movement and focus within the design
• Smart cutting and layout strategies to make the most of a jelly roll
• Tips for precise piecing, trimming, and block construction
You’ll experiment with multiple coloration ideas, compare variations, and grow your design confidence as you sew.
A quilt that tells your story
By the end of the year, you’ll have a striking set of blocks that reflect twelve months of skill-building and creative discovery. In the final session, you’ll receive several layout and setting options, from classic to modern, so you can turn your blocks into a finished quilt that is truly your own.

Attendance and Flexibility
This class is designed to fit your unique schedule needs. You can drop in for any session and leave each night with great learnings and instructions for completing a quilt using the block study of that evening.
However, students who attend consistently throughout the year will build a full set of coordinated blocks along with multiple setting options for completing a beautiful sampler quilt.
