Color & Coffee: Painting the Flavor Wheel (A Palate Exercise)

During this event, we'll develop our palate while using paint palettes to create a visual representation of our sensory flavor experience!

Led by Prestin Yoder of Flowerchild Coffee/Fellow and Hailie Stevens, Q Grader (Fellow), guests will be guided through cupping coffee from different terroir, and they'll choose their favorite to paint. Guests will be guided through discussions of flavor notes and asked to think about how those flavors correspond to the colors on the Coffee Taster's Flavor Wheel, before taking to their very own canvas with those colors in freeform.

Guests are encouraged to take a ton of freedom with their paintings, or follow Prestin closely as he paints his example. Welcome to a most unique and enlightening taste-and-sip event, where you're sure to leave with a more developed coffee palate and your very own flavor painting!
