Colombia Masala

Colombia Masala is an event of live entertainment, music, food and dance where the two similar cultures of Colombia and India are brought together. The five previous events of this kind have been extremely popular. Kids are also welcome to attend as long as they are accompanied by an adult.

There will be Colombian and Indian snacks on the night included in the entry price, as well as an Indian Tea or Colombian Coffee.

The event is from 6.00pm-11.30pm and will have a Diwali theme (Cumbia, Candles & Salsa). With a Henna artist too.

This is a ticketed event @ £10 on the night, less in advance including early bird offers. Tickets soon on sale via www.latindianevents.com

The Henna artist will be separate on the night and Henna will be available for purchase.

Early bird tickets for £7.50 per person

Early bird for 2 people for £12.50 - must arrive together

Standard price is £10 from Monday 3rd Oct

or £15 for two people who must arrive together, from Monday 3rd Oct.

A Handful of tickets may also be available at the door on the night but these will be subject to capacity & restricted so please buy in advance to guarantee your entry. These door tickets will also be card payments only. There will be no group discounts on the door.

Entertainment (Approximately 8.00-9.30pm) -

Order of the night

6-7pm guests arrive to background music (Colombia Masala playlist)

6-9pm Henna Artist available

7pm -7.30 Salsa dancing

7.30-8.00pm Food, teas, coffees served

8.30-9.15pm - Cumbia Class

9.30-11.30 Social dancing - Latin & Indian mix

DJ Music will be a combination of 80% Salsa with a blend of Bachata, Bollywood, Bhangra with a touch of commercial beats until 11.30pm.

Soft background music will be played early on to welcome and greet guests arriving.

This will be a hugely exciting, different and popular cultural event.

Please come early as Entertainment, snack food will be from 7-9.30pm.

Venue Info

The event will take place at the Selhurst Railway Club in Selhurst South London. This venue is nice and spacious and COVID friendly. There are plenty of tables and seats available for up to 150 guests.

Selhurst Railway Club is a stones throw from Selhurst train station - well connected by London Victoria, Clapham Junction and East Croydon.

Upon arrival please press the buzzer and wait to be let in.

You will need to show your pre paid ticket on your phone.

You will then be escorted into the room .

The venue has a fully stocked bar at extremely reasonable prices & crisps, nuts. It is a very spacious venue and has a very comfortable feel with great wooden floor for dancing.

There is no dress code but as this is a cultural event, traditional costumes from Colombia and India are most welcome so please bring your saris and your sombrero vueltiaos.

This is a kids friendly venue but kids are not permitted into the main bar area.
