For more than 67 years, Fill the Boot has been a strong firefighter tradition – giving families with muscular dystrophy in hometowns across America hope for the future and support for today.The Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) is transforming the lives of people with muscular dystrophy, ALS and related neuromuscular diseases, through funding of research, care, and advocacy for over 300,000 families in the United States.
This year we want to start a new tradition for the City of Collinsville. Come on out with the whole family and support your local firefighters and police officers as they battle it out over a friendly game of softball. We need you there for support because we all find it important to be involved with our community! All money raised will go directly to MDA.
After the 1st game we will have a friends and family kickball game that will involve some firefighters, police officers, and hopefully you. There will also be a 50/50 raffle that will be drawn at the conclusion of the 1st game.
The softball game will start at 11:00 and we will have food and drinks for sale. Thank you for considering joining us and we hope to see you there!
