2022 “Dinner & a Show” to Feature “Execution of Justice” Nov. 3 - 6

Before the show, area residents can enjoy pre-theater dinner specials
at local independent restaurants

The Ursinus College Theater Department has once again teamed up with The Collegeville Economic Development Corp. (CEDC) to offer a “Dinner & a Show” promotion featuring “Execution of Justice.” Drawing on court transcripts and public records, Emily Mann’s docudrama investigates the assassination of San Francisco Mayor George Moscone and Supervisor Harvey Milk, the first openly gay elected public official in the United States, and the 1979 trial of accused killer and former City Supervisor Dan White. “A dynamite play about the meaning of justice and politics in America.” –San Francisco Chronicle

This production includes adult content.

Performances are scheduled at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 3, Friday, Nov. 4, and Saturday, Nov. 5. There is a 2 p.m. matinee on Sunday, Nov. 6. All performances will be held in the Black Box Theater inside the Kaleidoscope Performing Arts Center on the Ursinus College campus.

Tickets are only $8 general admission and $5 for students and senior citizens. They can be purchased through the CEDC’s website, which contains information about the “Dinner & a Show” program and participating restaurants at www.collegevilledevelopment.org or the Ursinus Box Office (tickets only) at www.ursinus.edu/tickets. At both websites, Individuals will be issued a receipt which they should show at the restaurant on the day of the performance to get the dinner special. They should hold on to their receipts, because they will need to give them to the Ursinus Box Office in order to pay for and pick up their tickets. Theatergoers should arrive at the box office at least 15 minutes before the show begins.

Parking for the theater performance: Theatergoers should park in the College’s West parking lot; enter from Ninth Ave. The Kaleidoscope is to the side of the parking lot.

Twenty-two local restaurants will be offering dinner specials to individuals attending the show.

It is highly recommended that theatergoers make reservations and arrive at the restaurant by 5:30 p.m. to enjoy a leisurely dinner and to allow enough time to get to the Ursinus campus.
