Scottie lovers! One of our favorite days of the year is less than two weeks away! "Archie Ambassador Day" on Saturday, September 20th at the College of Wooster (Ohio) where dozens of Scotties and their families are given the VIP treatment for homecoming weekend free-of-charge.There will be a fenced-in agility area set up on the field level of the Scot Center for our more adventurous canines.
There will be a tent on the field level of the Scot Center as a meet and greet spot for people who want to say hello to the four-legged friends. This will also serve as a cool area with shelter from the sun, water, and treats for the dogs.
There are several sporting events throughout the day for you to enjoy, including
1 p.m.: Women's Soccer vs. Kalamazoo
2 p.m.: Football vs. Wabash
4 p.m.: Men's Soccer vs. Mount Union
The highlight; however, will be the parade immediately preceding the football game when Archie and our Archie Ambassadors (dogs and their owners) will lead the way to the football field behind Wooster's famous Pipe Band from the corner of Beall and University Ave. A group photo will be taken around 1 p.m. before the parade begins.
