About this Event

The Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.® Chi Omicron Omega Chapter, in partnership with the Phenomenal Pearls Educational and Charitable Foundation, proudly presents “College Is an Option”—an empowering event connecting high school students with colleges, universities, and technical schools in and around the Texas area.

Students will have the opportunity to meet college and technical school representatives, explore educational and career pathways, learn about programs and opportunities, and ask questions about life after high school. Whether pursuing a four-year degree, community college, certification, or technical/career training, students can explore options that align with their interests and goals.

What to Expect:

• Hear from current college students about their experiences, challenges, and opportunities
• Connect with educational and community partners

Our goal is to expose, educate, encourage, and empower students as they prepare for their next chapter.

By registering for this event, you hereby grant permission to the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.® Chi Omicron Omega Chapter and the Phenomenal Pearls Educational and Charitable Foundation the rights to use your photographs and/or video(s) taken on Saturday, September 26, 2026 at Alief Early College High School for publications, news releases, online media, and any other communication source related their missions.
