R̲E̲U̲N̲I̲O̲N̲ T̲I̲M̲E̲Put it in your diary and call your school chums to make a team for the annual Old Collegians Bowls Day. 2023 winner was Dilworth College; 2022 Selwyn College played great to be top team, and they looked good in their school gear (borrowed from Athletic Dept).
Interesting fact: The Trophy is called the Rothmans College Trophy and has been played for since 1969 (St Patrick's, Wellington won the inaugural title). Those were the days when cigarette companies were able to, and did, sponsor lots of sporting codes. “Back in the day” there would have been plenty of smokers in the men-only clubs, and it would have been only the past pupils of the all male colleges that took part in this event.

Many teams get into the pageantry spirit by donning school colours and gear. Frequent participants include: Auckland Grammar School; Avondale College; International Mixed; Kings College; Manawatu Colleges; Mount Albert Grammar School; New Plymouth Boys High School; Saint Kentigern College; Selwyn College; St Cuthberts; Selwyn College; Dilworth; Diocesan School for Girls ....and room for many more!
