College Chorus & COM Vocal Jazz Ensemble

College Chorus and the new Vocal Jazz Ensemble will perform a program of diverse repertoire. The College Chorus selections include delightful arrangements of American folk songs Yonder Come Day and Poor Wayfaring Stranger, the Venezuelan working song Canto de Pilón, and English Renaissance composer Henry Purcell's Sound the Trumpet. The vocal jazz ensemble will perform numerous standards, including My Romance, Like Someone in Love, I've Got a Crush on You, and Orange Colored Sky, as well as It's All Right from the movie Soul and Never Wanted Broken, a moving arrangement by California composer Matt Falker.
