College Application Camp 2025- Madison

Galin's Summer College Application Camp (affectionately called "App Camp") is designed to help rising high school seniors get a strong start on their college applications under the guidance of a Galin Education College Counselor with the additional assistance of Galin College Essay Coaches.

This best-selling program has been supporting students for over a decade by providing them with the information, techniques, feedback, and confidence to craft a college application that reflects their unique achievements and potential.

During App Camp, students will:

• Gain an understanding of the college admissions process and how admissions officers evaluate applications.
• Brainstorm, write, and edit a personal statement essay that can be used with a variety of applications.
• Learn how to research colleges and assess chances of admission using College Planner Pro software and other resources.
• Work one-on-one and in small groups to complete the main sections of the.
• Complete an activity sheet that highlights high school awards, extracurricular activities, and leadership positions.
• Learn how to approach, brainstorm, and write common supplemental essays.

Students and families will be invited to App Camp Orientation prior to their date to discuss the student's college list and get prepared to make App Camp the most productive experience it can be!

There will be three App Camps offered during summer 2025. See below for dates that fit your scheudle!

• June 23- June 26
• July 14 - July 17
• August 4 - August 7

Monday - Thursday

• 9AM - 4:00PM: Each day will include a combination of workshops run by counselors and essay coaches and time for students to work and meet individually with their essay coaches. Lunch is provided.

Thursday Evening : Parent Wrap-Up

• 6PM - 7PM: we will share with parents our suggestions for how students spend the rest of summer and fall to ensure applications are well done and finished well in advance of deadlines!

• $1,450: Early Bird Pricing (until January 1, 2024)
• $1,750: Discounted Pricing (January 1 – March 1, 2024)
• $1,950: Full Price (after March 1, 2024)

Because space is extremely limited, we cannot offer any refunds for Galin’s Summer College Application Camps. Once you register, there will be no refunds for any reason. Students may switch dates as long as space is still available.

There is a six student minimum in order for each App Camp to run.
