About this Event
You are invited to a free evening of food and discussion hosted by Eilidh Akilade at Strange Exchange Library. We will move through three courses asking questions, exploring experiences and collectively imagining a cultural institution for the future.
Where is the event happening?
The event will be hosted at Strange Exchange Library, 62 Moncur Street, G40 2SB.
Who is it for?
This event is aimed at early career cultural workers. This means workers with under 5 years experience working in the cultural sector. If you are not sure if this includes you, please get in touch!
What do I need to bring?
You just need to bring yourself and your experiences. Our host will guide you through the evening with prompts, questions and food.
What is intended by hosting this event?
This event is the first in a series intended to gather knowledge and experience from the cultural sector of Glasgow, starting with early career cultural workers but expanding it out to artists, the public, institutions, charities and more.
After each event we will gather together the findings and they will go towards creating pages for a handbook. With each event the handbook will grow and eventually can be a tool used for building future organisations and institutions in the city.
Where will the handbook exist?
The handbook will exist physically at Strange Exchange Library to begin with and will be held online. Each events documentation will be kept digitally and shared with participants after the event.
