El Sustainable Challenge torna en la seva setena edició amb el tema Collective Mending i una classe magistral a càrrec de la dissenyadora i comissària Amy Twigger Holroyd, professora a la Nottingham School of Art & Design. Una sessió inspiradora sobre com la reparació pot esdevenir una pràctica creativa, cultural i transformadora dins del disseny de moda.

A partir d’exemples reals, l’Amy ens convidarà a imaginar un món on reparar la roba sigui un acte central i celebrat, i a reflexionar sobre com podem transformar la nostra relació amb les peces que ja tenim.

El Sustainable Challenge vuelve en su séptima edición con el tema Collective Mending y una clase magistral de la diseñadora y comisaria Amy Twigger Holroyd, profesora en la Nottingham School of Art & Design. Durante la sesión inaugural, podrás contar su historia, tus preferencias y los límites que quieras establecer en el proceso de transformación. Si hay match entre tú, tu prenda y uno de los equipos de estudiantes, se encargará de intervenirla en el transcurso del maratón de creación.

The Sustainable Challenge returns for its seventh edition with the theme Collective Mending and a masterclass by designer and curator Amy Twigger Holroyd, professor at the Nottingham School of Art & Design. An inspiring session exploring how repair can become a creative, cultural and transformative practice within fashion design.

Drawing on real-life examples, Amy will invite us to imagine a world where repairing clothes is a central and celebrated act, and to reflect on how we can transform our relationship with the garments we already own.

Bring a garment worth mending and join the challenge

Do you have a piece of clothing you no longer wear? Maybe it needs an update or a complete transformation. During the Sustainable Challenge, you’ll have the chance to share its story and your preferences with the participating students. If there’s a match between you, your garment and one of the teams, they’ll repair or reinterpret it during the creativity marathon.
