About this Event
Across Maine, wellness collectives and cooperative care spaces are creating new opportunities for connection, healing, and holistic health. What might be possible if Black, Indigenous, and People of Color health and wellness professionals came together to imagine a shared space rooted in community, culture, and collective care?
Join The Third Place for a facilitated conversation exploring the vision of a BIPOC-centered Health & Wellness Center. Together, we will discuss the needs, opportunities, and possibilities of creating a welcoming hub where healthcare providers, therapists, holistic practitioners, fitness professionals, healers, and wellness entrepreneurs can collaborate, practice, and serve our communities.
This gathering is an opportunity to share ideas, build relationships, and help shape a vision for a space that reflects our values, traditions, and approaches to well-being.
We will also here from Regina Phillips, co-founder of Cross Cultural Community Services. She will provide an overview of the Community-led Needs Assessment (Health).
Whether you are a clinician, wellness practitioner, health and wellness entrepreneur, or simply passionate about community health, your voice and perspective are welcome.
* A link will be sent separately to online attendees *
Light lunch provided. If you are unable to participate but interested in attending future BIPOC Health and Wellness Network gatherings, please RSVP. There is an option to add your name to the sector-specific list-serve.
