Delve into a selection of National Geographic magazines and learn how to create a textural, modern collage piece. Instructed by collage artist and illustrator Liz Marvin, you’ll learn how to transform your inspiration into a fine art collage.Collage supplies will be provided, but you’re welcome to bring your own inspirational elements such as:
- printed personal photos
- paper mementos (ticket stubs, old notes, handwriting samples, etc.)
- Printed song lyrics or poems
- Scrap paper or magazines you have (we’ll provide plenty of these!)
With her collage method, Liz has created album covers, art installations, visual journals, and more. You can see her work on Instagram @lizmarvincreative. Come join in and create something new!
