Collage Workshop: Wellbeing & Self Discovery

Join us for a creative and introspective journey at our Collage Workshop! Faciliator Lauren Temple will guide you through activities to help you discover the power of self-expression through art and delve into your subconscious thoughts and emotions in a fun and relaxed enviroment. No artistic experience required - just an open mind and a willingness to explore!

*For those aged 18+ or 16+ if accompanied by an adult 

Where? Desert Island Dumpling's on the third floor of Afflex, Manchester.

When? 11th October 2024, 4:00pm-5.45

About the Faciliator:

LAUREN TEMPLE (she/her) is a poet, performer, and workshop facilitator from Manchester, England. She is a member of the poetry collective Young Identity. Lauren’s work often focuses on queerness, feminism, and mental health. Seeing herself primarily as a storyteller, Lauren often uses a narrative style that weaves fantasy with the mundane to examine our contemporary life. Lauren has worked with organisations such as Manchester International Festival, Apples and Snakes, HOME theatre, and Manchester City of Literature. When she isn’t writing poetry, Lauren enjoys hiking and arts & crafts in her spare time.

Please note that the workshop will have to finish at aprox quater to six to allow clean up time.

Food and drink will be avalible to purchace from Desert Island Dumplings.

I will be taking pictures at this event of both the artwork and particpants, therefore if you would not like to be photogrpahed please let me know and I will not include you in the pictures.
