Collage with Susan

Workshop Description

Move beyond the regular cut and glue approach of collage with the guidance of Susan Gomez. Susan is a master collager who knows all of the tips and tricks. She will show you new ways of collaging, different collage projects you can do, and give new life to your paper waste and magazines.

All materials are included with the price of admission, no experience neccessary!

Susan has one class a month at The WasteShed from April- November. Feel free to sign up for multiple classes, you'll learn something new and be going home with a collage everytime!

Meet The Artist

Susan Gomez is a mixed media artist and a long-time WasteShed volunteer who grew up in Humboldt Park. She has many years of experience teaching people of all ages Zentangle, Collage and Button Making. She has spent the last decade making art accessible to her community, and believes that anybody can make art!

Documentation

Your participation in a WasteShed program constitutes implied consent to be photographed, and for those images to be utilized by The WasteShed for educational, fundraising, and marketing purposes. If you prefer not to be photographed, please let a staff member know and we’ll be happy to respect your wishes.

Parking

Free street parking is available on the street outside of The WasteShed, but spots may be limited so please plan accordingly. The Kimball bus stops right outside our doors! Please let us know if you need wheelchair access.

Refunds:

We can only issue refunds up to 7 days before the event. We can refund you the full ticket price but not the Eventbrite Fees as they collect that money and we do not. Thank you for your understanding!
