Join Alanna Chelmick for a three-week, collage-making extravaganza. No experience necessary. All supplies provided.
About this Event

The three part series is an opportunity to begin (or deepen) your collage practice. Each week, @alanna_of_love will offer a totally optional theme or style of collage for you to explore and play with. Come experience the magic of collage in a consistent circle of attendees, exploring, gluing and grooving with a variety of paper and art supplies and lovely tunes curated for a creative practice. Think: a joyful way to make art with friends/fam/community and to make some more along the way!

No experience necessary. All supplies provided.

SCHEDULE

  • Tuesday, February 3 from 6:30-8:30PM
  • Tuesday, February 10 from 6:30-8:30PM
  • Tuesday, February 17 from 6:30-8:30PM

P lease note that this workshop is a three-week commitment. Tickets are firm, meaning there's no swapping, make-up classes or refunds after the session has started.

Your host

Alanna Chelmick is a multi-disciplinary artist who creates with many mediums: paper, paint, makeup, textiles and the natural world. She is fuelled by nature and all its elements, animals on the ground to the sky, community care and connection. She finds joy in the smallest things and follows her intuition, moving around the world. Smiling at “strangers” is common. You will find her talking to birds, appreciating light and the way it dapples. Nearly thirty years ago, she was nicknamed Alanna of Love and it stuck. #whatwouldlovedonow @alanna_of_love
