Join us for an exciting Collage Explorations workshop with Peggy Pfenninger and discover how to ignite your creativity using just paper and glue, all within a relaxed and playful setting. In this hands-on session, you’ll dive into the art of ephemeral collages—no glue required!—while mastering some basic techniques and crafting a funky face.
For the main project, you’ll create a free-flowing collage background that captures your unique style. Peggy will then guide you through transforming your artistic creation into a zine, allowing you to showcase your work in a playful format that can be used as a mini book, journal, or card.
Perfect for all skill levels and ages 15+, this workshop promises a fun and creative experience. No prior experience is necessary, and all supplies are included. Don’t miss this opportunity to explore the art of collage and create something uniquely yours!

About the Artist
Peggy Pfenninger is a multidisciplinary and mixed-media artist based in Portland, Oregon. With a specialization in collage, Peggy’s work reflects a deep engagement with visual storytelling and material exploration. A Savannah College of Art and Design alumna, she brought her creative expertise to Portland in 1995, where she has since established herself as a vibrant force in the local art community.
Residing in the NE Concordia neighborhood, Peggy is known for her innovative art-making approach and dedication to sharing her knowledge. She has conducted numerous workshops both in-person and via Zoom, and this is her fourth collaboration with Siren Nation, highlighting her ongoing commitment to fostering artistic growth and community engagement.
