Join us each month for mixed media collage-making in a supportive and inspiring community of artists and makers. The Collage Collective is a space to experiment with paper, paint, pastels, and markers while creating richly layered collages full of texture and meaning.
Connect with others who share a love for the art of cut-and-paste imagery in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
All skill levels are welcome, from experienced artists to complete beginners, and all materials are provided.
Workshops are $10 (Approx. $15 w/ taxes and fees).

About Artist Cindy Martin
I am a mixed media collage artist based in Northern Colorado, creating visual narratives rooted in memory and emotion. My practice centers on image-based storytelling, often using faces, figures, and text as entry points into these stories—suggesting inner dialogues, hidden meanings, and histories left untold.
My work is grounded in paper collage, layered with a wide range of wet and dry media, including acrylic paint, ink, oil and soft pastels, charcoal, and graphite. I source imagery from contemporary fashion and interiors publications alongside carefully selected antique photographs and ephemera. These materials carry the residue of lives once lived, offering both inspiration and conversation within the work. Through these visual stories, I aim to evoke unspoken feelings and long-forgotten memories that linger just beneath the surface.
My expressionist style embraces contradiction—humor and melancholy, chaos and control, nostalgia and irreverence. Each piece is an invitation to pause, reflect, and connect, both with the image and with one’s own internal landscape
