Collage Art Workshop

In this workshop, students will learn different collage techniques such as:

• creating a simple background, layering images and other materials, cutting parts of images to
  
• reveal the background, cutting images and adding other images and materials into the negative
  
• spaces, weaving paper and other ideas to make unique collage works.
  

Students will:

• Learn the process of building and layering images and other materials to create collage.
  
• Learn to balance images and negative space within the same piece of art.
  
• Gain the experience of creating and engaging in a group environment.
  
• Leave with a completed piece of artwork.
