We're trying something new this year!For several years now, each of the local growers and associated vendors participating in this event have been minding their own planty business(es) and are well-versed in both organic and sustainable gardening. Most have also hosted or participated in really awesome plant sales at their own individual locations and have welcomed a beautiful variety of customers who have one major interest in common: healthy local food.
Many have also seen an increase in the number of customers interested in organic, heirloom, perennial, and native food sources: the very things in which local growers specialize ? Since by definition a grower is just a person / neighbor with a full life and love for plants, sometimes it can be challenging to make busy schedules (and parking spaces!) align.
What if you could go to ONE local meetup spot with plenty of parking to shop from all of your favorite local growers??? And what if growers could work together so that time and energy are both saved and can be reinvested back into growing plants, food, and families??? Wouldn't it be lovely for all if we could help each other get our respective veggie gardens healthy, planted, and productive as soon as possible??? Why don't we give it a try and see how it grows?
The hospitable folks at The Urban Farm Church are providing the space, including plenty of free, off-street parking.

Traffic through the parking lot will be one way for the sake of safety. please enter at the north driveway and exit at the south or west.
Each vendor will manage their own register & will have a sign indicating the forms they accept directly. Grown In Columbus representatives will be on hand at the welcome tent for single-checkout purchases: buy as many $1 tickets as you'd like with any form of payment and pay each vendor with tickets.
Each vendor will also strive to provide packaging material, but you are also welcome to bring your own box / crate / wagon.
