A collaborative weekend led by Fighting Monkey instructors Manuel Bohn and Jakub Zeman invites you into a lively exploration of movement, communication, and adaptability.We will investigate how play, variability, and curiosity help us stay creative and resilient.
From sports and dance to therapy and education, this workshop offers practical tools and thinking models to refresh your approach and expand your movement intelligence.
You may find new rhythms for your body, sharpen your timing in unpredictable tasks, and refine how you communicate and coordinate with others.
The weekend builds on the evolving research of Fighting Monkey Practice, developed by Jozef Fruček and Linda Kapetanea through cross-motion studies of human movement, learning, and ageing.
Both Manuel and Jakub are practitioners and educators who have been immersed in this work for years, each bringing a distinctive background and curiosity for embodied research:
Manuel Bohn – brings deep expertise as a physiotherapist, athlete, and nature connection explorer
Jakub Zeman – draws from martial arts, dance and information processing in complex organisations
Practice Overview
Our sessions weave together diverse modalities – reminiscent of yoga, martial arts, dance, calisthenics, or physiotherapy – yet always focused on developing adaptability, creativity, and awareness rather than mastering a fixed form.

Articulations – exploring efficient movement pathways through guided mobility work
Coordinations – dynamic sequences to awaken rhythm, elasticity, and tissue intelligence
Improvisation – discovering new solutions and qualities through open exploration
Movement Situations – partner games and creative challenges to develop agility, decision-making, and perceptual sensitivity
Evolving Communication Strategies – translating movement experience into better understanding of what we want, need, and can achieve
We train, discuss, and experiment to better understand what it means to be human and how to cultivate vitality in everyday life.
