TUESDAY, JANUARY 14th... Kick off 2025 with a creative BANG!We have some amazing speakers, live art, live figure drawing, great food and delicious boxed wine! All held in an amazing 4000 square foot creative space packed with a hundred or so amazing LA creatives!
What is Collab? Started in 2005, it's an art salon, a creative mixer, and a place to help figure out what you want to get up to next. Anyone is welcome, it is super easy to meet people, share ideas, get inspired, find collaborators, or get help on your project! It is a creative retreat for all of you artists, entrepreneurs, techies, makers, mad scientists, film folk, performers, investors, inventors and all around awesome creatives.
Our guest speakers are structured around an ask and give format. They are sharing their projects, their experiences, their amazing talents. And in return, they are making an ask of the community to help make their creative dreams reality.

Hyper realism filmmaker with a focus on YouTube, Art will be showcasing his short film on the LA Rave Scene and discussing his creative process.

"VR Dolphin - Indie VR Meditation app and Time Square video" by Jacqueline Cooper
Jackie's work as a VFX artist and supervisor recently earned her an Epic Fellow, and now she is bringing that talent to VR Dolphin, exploring how virtual reality (VR) can be used as a tool for social change, focusing on mental health awareness.

Joshua will be showing and discussing how he discovered Charles E Taylor, the Wright brothers Mechanic.

2025 RESOLUTIONS. Kevin Flint will be taking aside a select group of creatives who are ready for a year long creative kick in the behind. We'll discuss your big creative resolution for 2025, and then spend the entire year cajoling/shaming/motivating you to succeed!
FEATURED GUEST LIVE ARTISTS: LIVE figure drawing with Kiki! Bring your own sketchbook or borrow one of ours, Kiki will be doing a series of poses to help you tune up those drawing skills.

INVITE YOUR FRIENDS! It’s always better when our community reaches out to create inclusion.
So come join us. First timers, Collab vets, and everything in between. We do ask for a $5 donation at the door, but we've never turned away anyone for lack of funds. If you can't help with $5, we'd love to have you help at the door for 30 minutes or so. We typically have some box wine and snacks, but we also welcome any beverage or food you'd like to add to the mix.
